Other Resources
So you still haven't found what you're looking for? Below are a couple of suggestions for you if you are unable to find just what you want.
- Google: don't underestimate the power of the Google. While Google will return an unmanageable number of results, their algorithms are reasonably good at sorting through what you want. Try searching for your subject area and "OER" (in quotes - otherwise it will think you're trying to search for the word "per.")
- Other University LibGuides: search google for "LibGuides" and "OER" and you'll return scores of other University's OER LibGuides. Some have resources not listed on ours. If you find one that is particularly useful, please call it to the attention of Dr. Frank Quinn (frank.quinn@lr.edu) so we can add it to our collection.
- Consider creating your own textbook: it may be that you need to pull together smaller OER pieces and remix them into your own, personalized textbook. Although this will be time-consuming, the result will be tailor-made for your class. And you can consider republishing that book as an OER with an appropriate CC license.
